I hope Mark will stay with us. Please people, if you have complaints, send them to the list owner, and let them handle it. You don't know how your words may hurt someone. I know this virus thing has everyone on edge, but lets not destroy each other too. I read my email straight from CompuServe, and I can easily spot the virus' as they come in. If you are using Outlook, you might want to try reading your email straight from your carrier for a while. Or get a really good virus scanner. Also everyone might want to stop sending attachments for a while, until this dies down. If you are sending one, to share information, send a preletter, letting the person know your email is coming, and what the file name will be. I hope everyone is finding lots of new ancestors. I have had several possible cousins write in the last few weeks, and as of yet, we haven't been able to help each other, but who knows. My goal for 2001 is to find my Grandfather in 1920. He would have been married to his first wife, and I am curious to see if they had any kids, that we don't know about. :) Won't that make for a fun family reunion topic? -Grandpa had other children, you guys didn't know about. Dig Dig Dig. LOL Anyway, I hope everyone has a good week, and lets share and care. :) Teresa Ghee Elliott TNRUTHER-L@rootsweb.com List Owner

    3. List, I found a John Coleman, died in Rutherford Co.13 Jul 1838. Administor was Jordan Coleman. There was a list of belongings being sold, mostly to other Colemans. I sent for a copy hoping for more detail on this John Coleman, such as birth date, name of spouse, where he's buried. The question is: if there is an estate sale, does that mean there was no will? Thanks and Peace. Barb in FL ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! Juno offers FREE or PREMIUM Internet access for less! Join Juno today! 3. I am getting bombarded with viruses today. If you are going to open email attachments you aren't expecting, please remove me from your address book first. Our IT guys say that the only way you can get this virus is to open an email attachment. After it gets on your computer, it automatically sends itself to people in your address book. Please remove my email from your computer until this blows over and don't open attachments from anyone for a while. Thanks Mark A. Murphy

    1. Re: [TNRUTHER] _ problems From Admin please read.
    2. If anyone gets a virus from someone, please write them and let them know. Often they have no clue. :) And if you want to write me privately at CheasaG@cs.com, I can check to see if they are a subscriber. Rootsweb checks for viruses, and also for spam to their lists, but at times, people save our email addresses in their addresss books and they may send us an email off the list. If anyone has any problems, don't hesitate to let me know. It's my job. :) Teresa Ghee Elliott TNRUTHER-L@rootsweb.com List Owner
