GGGgrandfather, James ALEXANDER and wife (possibly Elizabeth) 1840 time frame...two known sons (John H born 1828 and James H born 1825), also two sons younger and two daughters, one older and one same time frame (names, dates unknown). Known sons born in Smith County, confirmed in Rutherford by 1850. Located in northern part of Rutherford County (Valley District, District 15, District 5). John married Nancy Ann BARRETT in Rutherford County (1848), her family from Moore County, NC. James H married Sarah Ann COLEMAN (1849). Melissa in Colorado

    2. I have only one Youree in my Woods family tree: Jen Youree married Susan Woods. Susan was the daughter of Stephen Henry Woods (1824-1907) and Mary Jemima Lyon (1831-1871) all of Rutherford County. I do not have any dates for Susan, but her birth date was between 1854 and 1858. Stephen first m. Elizabeth L. Lyon in 1849. After her death in 1853, Stephen married Elizabeth's sister Mary J. Lyon. Susan was the first child of this marriage; the second child, William Hiram "Uncle Billy" Woods was born in 1859.

    2. Vianna Rucker m. R.A. Colbert in Rutherford Co., Tenn. 1870. She was born in Tenn., but don't know where. I know the Rucker family was very well researched, but can find no trace of her or her husband in Tenn. other than their marriage. They lived their married life in southern Missouri and northern Ark.
