I need help with a single year/person/state census index lookup. For Tennessee in the 1860 Census Index please lookup Charles REVETT. I found my 2nd great grand father Charles Revett interred in the Chattanooga National Cemetery, Chattanooga, Hamilton County, Tennessee. His cemetery record states: Revett, Charles, d. 12/31/1866, SGT F 44 USC INF CIVIL WAR, Dec 31 1866, Plot: J 3920. I have the years 1850 and 1840 for TN but the 1860 Index book was missing and considered stolen. I did not find Charles Revett in 1840 or 1850 in Tennessee but feel he may be there in 1860. He was not found in GA, AL, or MS since his marriage 29 Jun 1839 in Clarke County AL to Susanna PERRY. Thanks for helping with this request .....
