I was looking at some paperwork after I got home today and thought I would put in another request to see if you might have access to this information also. My great-grandfather, Swain G. Dannelley was supposed to have served in the Tennessee Infantry in the Civil War, 28th Tennessee, I believe. I have found nothing that certifies this, and neither he nor his wife apparently applied for his pension, so his records are not available here in Texas where they moved in 1880. If you have any access to any civil war records, would appreciate any kind of lookup you might be able to do. His last name can be spelled many various ways, even with an "o" rather than an "a."
