<I have access to a lot of early tennessee records. Especially the Nashville area, am willing to do lookups within reason.> Would you have anything on a William (Henry?) MCKINNEY? I find him first in Lincoln Co., TN in 1840 when he marries Elizabeth Wakefield. Before that is blank. On his daughter's death record, it is stated her father was born in TN. The 1850 and 1860 Lincoln Co. census states he was born in SC. Recently I read a statement that people at one time believed that the area just south of Lincoln Co., TN was SC. I have never been able to connect him to any SC McKinneys, so believe I will research TN before 1840 for him and his family.
