There is two Jesse M. Pvt. B.Co.1/27 Inf. and J.M.Odum Pvt. I Co. 46th Inf. Odum,John Pvt. Burdren's Co. 61st MI and Odum, J.O. Pvt. G.4th Con.Inf. These were Union. Under Conf. is no Jesse or J.M.,but a John L. Odum Pvt. I Co. 5th Cav. I have a book from Tn. on the Union and Conf. lists of civil war soldiers. Hope this help you out.
