In one of my boks from Civil War Museum is a listing of each company and some information on them. 4th Tn. Mounted Inf. Reg.,USA was organized Sept. 29,1864, mustered out at Nashville, Aug.25,1865 Lieutenant Colonel J.H. Blackburn commanding. They were stationed at Alexandria,Tn. April 25, Colonel Blackburn was instructed to detach four companies to LaFayette,Tn.Be glad to send to the individual interested in the companies history.
