I have ancestors who were married on August 17, 1898....according to what was written on back of the photo. We have no idea where they were married at.....only that they had ran away to get married because of the young age of the bride (she was 13). Does anyone know where a couple could possibly have gotten married without parental consent from that era? I have been told that TN would be a good possibility.....but I am wanting to try all counties. They were originally from KY....but I have searched high & low for their marriage record. I am now thinking that it might be possible that they traveled to another state to be married.....so I am attempting the surrounding states. Any help will be great appreciated! Thank You!
