Am hoping to make contact with someone in Maury Co., TN, who might be able and willing to check out the following for me: Have come across a marriage record for Ally HARDISON to Flemming NEWCUM dated 16 July 1836, Maury Co., TN, in _Early TN Marriages_, and am now wondering if this might be a misprint? Have been able to locate this family in the 1860, 1870, and 1880 Maury Co., TN censuses, and it would appear that Ally was born somewhere between about 1825 and 1830, making her only eleven years old if the earlier date for her birth is considered, and only six if considering the latter, so have come to wonder if the published marriage year might be in error.
