While at a branch of the Knoxville library today I came across this book called God Speed's History of East Tennessee, by Charles and Randy Elder.I copied some info from McMinn co. and thought I'd pass it on. Samuel P.BLAIR- a member of the mercantile firm of Blair,John & Co.,also a tanner at Mouse Creek was born in Monroe county,East Tn.,April 15,1847.
