I have checked Dyer with no success. Next info on him was when he m Martha Almeta Travis 1879 Brookland AR. 1880 census for Salem Greene AR a bro James Wright 19 TN is living with John and Martha. No other info on him has been found. Census lists parents both b TN but no names. Martha's parents were Arthur C Travis and Elizabeth Ann Cooper 1850 census Carroll Co TN lists; Travis, Rachel 34 b abt 1816 -state could be IN or IL Need her parents, siblings and husband. Martha C 19 IL Arthur 14 IL 1860 Craighead Co Powell twn Travis, Rachel C 24 misprint-should be 44 Arthur C 25 IL Elizabeth A 18 SC b 1842 Nee marriage date for Arthur Travis and Elizabeth Cooper [have her line info to share] 1870 Craighead Powell AR Travis, Elizabeth 26 SC Martha A 9 AR Presume she was named after Arthur's sister Martha. No more info on Rachel, Arthur or sister, Martha. Arthur died or they divorced by Dec 12 1878 as Elizabeth m John Lamb that date.
