Epling, 72, of Breaks, died Sunday, November 13, 1994, at Richlands, Va., hospital. She was a daughter of the late Alvin And Bessie Mullins Puckett. She was a native of Kentucky, attended the Freewill Baptist Church and was a member of the Order of Easter Star Florence Ann Chapter 133. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis Epling. Survivors: daughters Ruby Fern Stiltner of Breaks and Betty Ann Epling of the home; sons, Scottie Epling of Breaks, Ellis Epling Jr. of Eagan Minn., and Ricky Dean Epling of Kenai, alaska; sisters, Marie Lovern and Jean Waite, both of Michigan; brother, Juan Puckett of Breaks; 10 grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Haysi Funeral Home in Haysi, Va., with the Rev. Danny Sluss officiating. Burial will be at the Mullins Cemetery at Breaks.
