I have emailed a TEXAS CENSUS LOOKUP volunteer to see if he is there in 1850 or 1860. Also, Fannie (Parr) Jones, this is Charles Cadmus' Mother. William Jones is his Father. Supposedly a Civil War Dr., killed in the war. Any help you can give me will be appreciated. Looking for these Jones folks is like your worst nightmare!! 3. Hi, If Charles was born in 1850, how could his father have served in the Civil War? I found one from Texas but he was born in 1910. 3. Hi, Conniesue. You asked: > > If Charles was born in 1850, how could his father have served in the Civil War? ------------------ Maybe I am missing something here, but I do not see how Charles' father fighting in the Civil War would have been a problem date-wise. To the best of my knowledge, even Charles himself could easily have fought in that war when you consider how young some of the fighting "men" were. Leslie
