HI List i'm tracing the my great grandfather JOHN "JACK" MOORE,TX? 1835--40.we know 0 about him.he married NANCY MAYES.born 1845 in RAY county,MO.her parents are STERLING & SARAH CARR MAYES.the famiiy moved back to CLAIBORNE county,TN about 1849. their children are...JEFF,JAMES HOUSTON,WILL,AGNES,JOHN MARION & LIZZI. Nancy was not listed as married in the 1860 CLAIBORNE county census.and was never found in a census again.my Nancy was shown to have married a BOLIN in 1882.she died in 1883.this closely fits info we have. this is what we are told. ATTENSION!!! looking for AGNES MOORE marriage & divorce records...AGNES was married we are guessing 1880-90? no last name known. she had 2 kids a boy & girl.after the divorce in late 1890s to maybe 1905? she went to OREGON.but never told what became of the kids.the marriage/divorce not known what counties in TN,maybe CLAIBORNE,UNION,or KNOX. our roots are CLAIBORNE & KNOX Counties,TN.i have a website if you want to check more info,thank you,Ray Moore.
