I'm researching the Hale family. My research show that my GGG Grandfather was named Nathan Hale b.1757. He was the son of Nicholas Hale and Ruth Acres. I would like to contact anyone who is researching this line of Hale family. I have that my GG Grandfather was Alfred Hale. Alfred came to Southern Illinois around 1847. He came with wife Jane ?? and son James O. Hale, dau Louvano Prudence Hale. I'm looking for proof of the parents of Alfred Hale . b/ 1815 d. 1890 in Union County, Illinois. I have found Alfred in 1840 in Warren County, TN. I have yet to find him tied to Nathan. Any help would be very much appreciated. Ernest Hale
