Pat, I used to live in Anderson and Fentress Counties. My father was a coal miner .We lived at Fork Mountain and Devonia (Moore's Coal Camp)in Anderson Co. About every three months if we had extra money , my Dad would take us over Petros Mountain to Petros and Oliver Springs. We would have a bowl of beef stew(it was the best) at a restraunt near the train station. Then we would head back and stop at Petros and buy an orange pineapple ice cream cone. We would stop at twilight time and eat our ice cream on top of Petros Mountain and look out over the mountain at all the little lights from people's houses and Brushy Mountain State Prison .I still love looking at lights.
