I have that Preston Hickey married Elizabeth Barnett, daughter of Carter Barnett, on August 3, 1809 in Roane County, TN. She was born about 1780 in NC according to census info. Don't know if this helps in the Carter/Isham search at all, except for the name Preston was mentioned in another email I received. Tina Nealon
