Mildred, While you are looking for your Wards, look for mine too. My gg-grandfather's (James Liles) daughter, Elizabeth Liles married David N. Ward on December 28, 1858 in Blount County, TN. I found Elizabeth on the 1860 Blount County Census living beside her sister Rebecca Liles who was married to Ralph Perkeypyle. David was not listed with Elizabeth, only her two children, David W. A. age 1 and Sarah A. E. age 2 months and and Elizabeth Lyle age 75 who I think is her grandmother. I don't know if David died, if her was living somewhere else, or what. Some of Elizabeth family had left for Missouri and maybe Arkansas about this time. The only time I found Elizabeth and her children was in 1860. In 1870 Elizabeth Lyles is in an 'old folks home' in Blount County. Sandy
