Crossville Chronicle obit... John H. Kannady Sr. May 15, 1913 - Aug. 21, 2002 John Harold Kannady Sr., 89, of Rockwood, TN, passed away Aug. 21, 2002. A memorial service was held Aug. 22 from the chapel of Evans Mortuary in Rockwood, with Father Mike Sweeney officiating. Mr. Kannady was born May 15, 1913, in Kansas City, MO. He was a retired production supervisor with Matherson-Selig in Chicago, with 30 years of service. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the U.S. Navy Seebees. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, John H. Jr. and Janet Kannady of Fairfield Glade; sister-in-law, Mariann Seebacher of Chicago, IL; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Evans Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.
