Crossville Chronicle obit... Frank Lewis Jr. Sept. 29, 1951 - July 29, 2002 Frank Lewis Jr., 50, of the Bakers Crossroads community of Crossville, passed away July 29, 2002. Funeral services were conducted Aug. 1 from the chapel of Crossville Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery in the Pomona community. Don McCool officiated. Mr. Lewis was born Sept. 29, 1951, in Crossville, the son of Frank and Agnes Lewis. He was a diesel mechanic for Reed Trucking. Survivors include his wife, Connie Reed Lewis of Crossville; son, James Lewis; daughter, Kristie, and grandson, Chase, both of Texas; stepson, Michael Stowers of Clarkrange; mother, Agnes Lewis; sisters, Hazel Murphy and Cathy Lewis, both of Crossville; brother, John Lewis of Cookeville; grandmother, Imogene Hill of Harriman; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Lewis; and daughter, Teresa Gayle. Pallbearers were Fred Logan, Charlie Lane, Sean Baisley, Dee Baisley, Wendell Proffitt Jr., Jimmy Baldwin, Adam Crockett and Lane Reed. Crossville Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
