While the group is thinking about Elizabeth Cofers, I need some help. My gggrandparents were Thomas Davis b. ca 1800 and Elizabeth Cofer b. ca 1802. Don't know where either were born or their parents, but they wandered around in Tn after they married (don't know that tidbit either). Am assuming they married ca 1825 because the first child we find is Robert b. 1826. Does anyone have any info on this Elizabeth? Could she have been married previously to a Cofer and thats not her surname (and the reason I can't find her belonging to any Cofer family)? Any help is appreciated.
