Hello to the list, I am looking for any additional information on the 5th TN Cav., Co. B...which I am told was based out of Roane Co. TN. Also, Welcker's TN Cav. Bn, which was also based out of Roane. Both were Confederate units and I am looking to connect w/ anyone who has knowledge of information/pictures that deal with this unit. I have excerpts from "Tennesseans in the Civil War" which gives rough details of these units, but doesn't go into a whole lot of detail. I have also found one picture posted on the web for a trooper in the 5th TN Cav., Co. B(a Private Edgemond). I have this web address for anyone who is interested.
