Crossville Chronicle obit... Alice O. Hayes Jan. 14, 1930 - Jan. 3, 2003 Alice Ollene Hayes, 72, of Ashland City, TN, passed away Jan. 3, 2003. Funeral services will be conducted Jan. 13 at 11 a.m. at Mundy Funeral Home South Chapel in Clarkrange, TN, with burial in Green Acres Memory Gardens in Crossville. Bro. Dean Patton will officiate. Mrs. Hayes was born Jan. 14, 1930 in Fentress County, TN. She was a member of Clarkrange Baptist Church. Survivors include sons, Steve Hayes of Ashland City and Bill Hayes of Mississippi; grandchildren, Emily, Gary and Donna Hayes; great-grandchild, Alex Hayes; brother and sisters-in-law, Gene and Joyce Allred of Cookeville, Jane Smith of Jamestown, Lydia Allred and Virgie Delk, both of LaVergne, TN; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Alene and John McCormick of Harriman, Orba and Jackie Welch of Nashville, and Clayta and Jim Perry of Crossville. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Oliver (Peanut) Hayes. Pallbearers will be Chad Owen, Doug Stewart, Jack Nulty, Ken Wilson, Jerome Collins, Mike Townley, Larry Pritchett and Jim Pritchett. Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Young, Don Dansby, S. Dansby and N. Dansby. Mundy Funeral Home South Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
