JOSEPH AND LUCINDA GRUBB descendants will be having their second annual reunion this year. We would love for you to join us if you have a connection to this Grubb family that first settled in Roane County about 1832, (Wheat area). The reunion is going to be held on May 28th, 2000, Memorial weekend, around noon (or after the church service) at New Bethel Baptist Church on Bethel Valley Road, near X-10 plant, in Oak Ridge, TN. New Bethel Baptist Church is having their Decoration Day services on Memorial weekend also and they assured us that there would not be a problem with the sharing of the ground space and the church. They are having church service, which we are invited to attend if anyone wants to come. Check your local papers for time of church service. You are asked to bring old photos, covered dish, and information about your family that you would like to share.
