And it appears she must have died when my grandfather was very young. The only census I have indicates his second wife (Mary Elizabeth Selser), only 18 years old and shows grandad's age as 1 year. I can't keep from wondering if she died in child birth????? Any information would be most appreciative and I will continue my search also.
