Hi Hillbilly, I have been called an Oakie and Oklahoma Hillbilly. Do you happen to have in your "Call Me Hillbilly" book the names Johnson and/or Harrison/ My grandfather James Leodia Johnson was born near Rockwood, TN and my grandmother Nancy Bell Harrison was born in Byrdstown, TN. I have quite a bit on the Harrisons, but very little on the Johnsons. James father was Green B., Green's father James Madison. Hopeful, Joan C. ............................................................................ ............. > Hello List, > > I have a small book called "Call Me Hillbilly" by Gladys Trentham Russell. > There are 200 families listed and 80 photos, if anyone wants me to look up a > name in it ,let me know.
