Hi Marshall, I wish I had more for you on your group.....but just wanted to drop you a line on a possible connection. I have a Wattenbarger marrying into my group of Cash's down in Meigs Co. TN. I don't know why I don't have it recorded on my census material, but I know there is a Cash/Wattenbarger connection down in Meigs ca. 1860-80. I'll have to dig for it. My Cash's also came from Washington Co. TN..supposedly near Jonesborough, and one branch was located at Sweetwater, Monroe Co. TN(Joel W. Cash ca. 1831-50+). Maybe your family and mine were affiliated w/ each other. Also, there were related Cash's from Washington Co. TN who went to Roane and McMinn Co's...as well as the Meigs/Rhea Co. branches. Anyway...let me search for that Wattenbarge connection. Take Care, Chris Cash Associated families appear to be: Looney, Blackwell, Renfrow, Ford, Gibson and Rowden. Many of these families headed out to Missouri from about 1848-60, but came back before or after the Civil War.
