I am looking for any information on a William L. CROCKETT m. Mary A. FREES on 14 May, 1865 in Roane Co. TN. I think William and Mary may be the parents of my great great grandfather John W. CROCKETT, b. 1866 in TN, m. Julia V. "Tiny" Finch, probably in TX. I am led to believe that this is John's family by a scrap of paper in a cousin's family bible with Mary's name on it, and the marriage entry in 'Early American Marriages: Tennessee, 1851 to 1900'. Unfortunately the trail turns cold from there. If anyone can provide any information as to William and Mary's family, I would very much appreciate it. Thank You, Loree
