I have put this name out on several lists and to several researchers but have received no response. Is anyone researching this line or have any information. Dave Westmoreland b. TN. (possibly Fentress Co. TN) ca 1852-56. Listed in Clinton Co. KY 1860-1870 census. Married Sarah Wright 1872 in Clinton Co. KY. Moved back to TN and lived in Jackson, Roane, Clay Co. TN. Someone posted that he married a Mary Catherine Sanders of Jackson Co. TN. in 1886 but gave no other information and did not respond to my inquiry. Dave is said to have been a "boatman", died in Clay Co. TN. buried in Shields Cemetery in Clay Co. TN. Dave had a daughter - Lulu Mae born about 1881 died Knox Co. TN. 1967; a son - John born Roane Co. TN. in 1888 died Clay Co. TN. 1910. Any information about this line - anything on Shields Cemetery - any suggestions for research appreciated. Linda
