David, my only connection is thru Mary Ellen Brown daughter of Capt. John Brown, wife Mary Little Tarver from N.C. moved to Roane Co. Tn circ 1798. Mary Ellen married 1st Zacheus Ayers in Tn. 1803. he must have died said 2nd marriage Dr. Richards. Her older brothers twins Gen. John Brown & Thomas, my decent thru John, 1st Sherriff of county. I visited the library there in 1976 & bragged about being a decendant & was told well so is half ot the county, ha.keep on hunting. this is such a mind bending hobby. do you have any info on the families migrations from Va, n.C. tn?
