Eldon, In the Marriage Records Book of 1801-1855, Roane Co., Tenn., I found: Gabriel Jakewish/Jaquiss, married Levice Yandle. Sur. was Willis M. Yandle, Apr. 6, 1829. The marriage was performed by J. T. Barnard, JP, Apr. 7, 1829. Ref: bond and license. John Jaquis, married Polly Jolly. Sur. was Dudley Jolly, Apr. 1829. Ref: bond (license missing). James Jaquish, married Rebecca Mathis. Sur. (bond and license missing) , July 1, 1848. They were married by Wm Deatherage, JP, July 2, 1848. Ref: MB 2, 95-96. John H. Jaquish, married Mary Cox. Sur. was John M. Deatherage, Oct. 31, 1853. They were married by David W. Beaver, MG, Nov. 3, 1853. Ref: MB 2, 294-295; bond and license. Sarah Jaquish, married Malcom McCollum. Sur. (bond missing), May 7, 1840. They were married by Isaac L. Hembree, JP, May 14, 1840. Ref: MB 1, 28 (license missing). Susannah Jaquish, married Stanley Spradling. Sur. was Murphey H. Vaughn, Oct. 5, 1850. They were married by Asa Newport, MG, Oct. 31, 1850.
