I'm desperately hoping that someone can help me find the family of my ggGrandfather John KELLEY / KELLY. His date and place of birth, based on IL and WI Census Records, was about 1816 in TN. He was married by 1844 when his first of 7 sons was born in Lyme, Carroll Co., IL. His wife was Barbery (Barbara) Jane or Jane Barbery (Barbara) Davis b. 1825 in Manchester, OH. By 1855, they were living in either Sauk County or Monroe County where their last son was born, my great Grandfather, Jefferson Fredrick KELLEY / KELLY. By 1859, Barbara (Barbery) was remarried to a Richard Sutcliff and living in Wellington, Monroe Co., WI and is listed on the 1880 census as Jane B. Sutcliff. Does anyone know of a KELLEY /KELLY family that moved to IL in the early 1800's? or connect to this line? Thank you for any help, tips, etc. you can provide.
