Mike, I believe the Muddy Creek Cemetery you are looking for is now known as Martel Cemetery and is located by Martel (formerly known as Muddy Creek) Methodist Church in Lenoir City , Loudon County. This area was in Roane County before Loudon County was established in 1870. The church was founded by the Winton family and the cemetery is located next to the church. My husband's g-grandparents are buried there. If you will tell me the direction you are coming from, (Nashville, Chattanooga, NC, etc.??) I will give you directions.
