I am looking for information on James Jaquish or Jaquess born about 1828 in TN. Rebecca Mathis born about 1829 in TN. They were marriage on July 1 1848 in Roane Co. ffjones@netusa1.net

I find in the 1850 Roane Census Book by the Roane County Genealogical Society Family No 1396 Jas. JAQUISH age 24 Occ. Farmer born TN Rebecca JAQUISH 22 TN Emily J 1 TN Other Jaquish in the 1850 include Family # 1057 Isaac JAQUISH 44 Blacksmith TN Margaret 47 TN Susannah 24 TN Kizziah 22 TN Malcolm M 20 No Occupation TN Peter M 16 No Occupation TN John L G 14 TN Isaac W 12 TN Gabriel B 8 TN Joseph G 6 TN Sarah M 2 TN Martha J MAGEE 10 TN And John H JAQUISH age 20 born North Carolina living with the family of Malcolm M (age 73) and Sarah (age 46) COLLUM family # 1414 I don't have the 1860 Census yet 1870 Census lists no Jaquish or Jaquess 1880 Roane Co doesn't have one either.
