Crossville Chronicle obit... Willie I. Cobb April 9, 1904 - Aug. 27, 2002 Willie Irene Cobb, 98, of Crossville, passed away Aug. 27, 2002. Funeral services were conducted Aug. 29 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with burial in Green Acres Memory Gardens. Dr. Dan D. Haskins Jr. officiated. Mrs. Cobb was born April 9, 1904, in Roane County, TN, the daughter of John and Flora Kilby Miller. She was a factory worker, and a member of Cumberland Homesteads Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters, Fay Newberry and Christine Brown, both of Crossville; sons, Lynn Cobb of Rockwood, TN, Charles Cobb of Warren, MI, and Glenn Ray Cobb and Tom Cobb, both of Crossville; 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandsons, David Cobb and Keith Cobb; sister, Winnie Hatfield; and brothers, Ed Miller, George Miller and John Barnes. Pallbearers were Jeff Cobb, Randy Cobb, Steve Newberry, Donald Cobb, Chuck Cobb and Robert Peterson. Bilbrey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
