Would love some help in finding information on Juanita Grubb born about 1922. I have that she married Sol Ettinger. They had children but names are unknown. Juanita's father was R. Byrd Grubb and mother was Violet Freels. Any help is appreciated? Wanda "Friendship is a cozy shelter from life's rainy days."

Can any one tell me if these Joseph Love's who married two times into my Isham family could be the same man? First, I have a Joseph N Love who married Mary J Isham who was born about 1841 in Tennessee. This Joseph was born abt. 1833 in Tennessee and they married on September 11, 1856 in Roane County, Tennessee. Second he appears to marry Martha J Isham born about 1832 on September 11, 1857 in Roane County, Tennessee. No birth year on this one. And if that's not confusing enough I have another Joseph Newton Love who married a Christina Wilson on April 25, 1872 in Roane County, TN and according to records he was born about 1829 and he and Christina were the parents of a Sally Love who was the first wife of my Grandfather Samuel Drew Bowman. My Grandmother was his second wife Bessie Leannah ISHAM! Joseph and Christina appear on the 1880 Roane Census with 3 children that aren't hers so I am sure Joseph was married more than one time. Christina is on the 1870 Roane Census as a domestic servant for Samuel and Mary Margraves. Any tidbit welcome. Thanks! Brenda Duff gbduff@bellsouth.net
This may be the same person as sometimes Mary and Martha are the same name....just depends on who was doing the writing. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Brenda Duff" <gbduff@bellsouth.net> To: <TNROANE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, April 24, 2002 1:40 PM Subject: [TNROANE] Love and Isham marriages in 1850's > Can any one tell me if these Joseph Love's who married two times into my > Isham family could be the same man? > > First, I have a Joseph N Love who married Mary J Isham who was born about > 1841 in Tennessee. Are you saying that Alfred Blackburn that married Margaret Breazeale is a brother to Paul Blackburn that married Mary Reynolds. I don't have much information on the Blackburn's but I was thinking that Paul might be Alfred's father.
