Some time back, I posted a story to this list about the Boy Scouts that drowned in White's Creek during the 1929 flood. I've now found my picture of that monument and have posted it at: http://members.aol.com/Newport1745/Boyscouts.htm The new bridge built across White's Creek is much higher than the old one so just the top of the monument now shows as you drive across the bridge in to Roane County.
