Thanks, Edna My Stover ancestor bought land from Moses Greer in Rhea Co. ca 1892. I'm trying to find if the Greer family came into TN from, possibly VA. I've been tracking families from the Shenandoah Valley, down into NC, then over into E. TN. A Moses Greer was in the same area of VA as my Stovers. I'm trying to determine if the Rhea Co. The census indicates he was born Sept 1829-VA/Va/Ireland-M 48 years. Wife's name appears to be Orpha 68 (May 1832-T/Va/T-M 48. Son named Wetherinton S 32 years old (Dec 1867-M 2), daughter-in-law named Jennie 34 born Aug 1865 (Oh/Oh/Oh-M 2-0). Others in household were boarders.
