I am looking for information on James Butler and wife Agnes who lived in Roane in 1810-? until part of it became Rhea, and they were in Rhea until at least 1836. They had a daughter Phoebe who married an Edmond Ford--they moved to Meigs and her children were Jane (actually Edmond's by his first marriage), Stephen, James, and Newton. Phoebe may have had a sister named Elizabeth also in that area of TN whom I understand married and moved to MO. I know Phoebe had other siblings, but I don't know of any others in TN.
