    3. Donna, Also in the Churches and Schools of Rhea Co. (another big black book) on page 87-89 it mentions from the minutes of the Session of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Dayton, Tennessee: 4 September 1892--J.R. Cunningham of Chattanooga Congregation received by letter. Mrs. H.G. King of Tunnell Hill Congregation and E.A. Ashburn of Whitwell Congregation received by transfer. Mrs. M.F. Brock granted a letter of dismission. 6 April 1902--"On motion opportunity was extended for church membership when Mrs. Sarah Applewhite, Miss Anna Shalliday, Miss Agnes Shalliday, Miss Clark E. Haggard, Miss Elfie Bell Haggard, Miss Addie Brock, and Mrs. Nannie Kelvie McDonald presented themselves, the latter one by letter from Whitwell Congregation and the former ones on faith and experience." The former also were baptized. Miss Addie Brock was listed as being baptized on April 6 1902 by the Reverend J. Waller Haggard. Fred and Mary Salter Eagle River, Alaska Does anyone happen to know of an 1890 Rhea County, TN telephone directory that is available for lookups? Many in my BROCK line were born in the 1880s and without the 1890 TN censuses I am having a difficult time finding where some of them were in that 20-year gap. One relative married in Rhea County in 1885 and might possibly have been living there because the family doesn't show again until the early 1900s in Campbell Co., TN. Any suggestions are welcome and appreciated, Donna (Brock) Strong
