    1. Owens
    2. Does anyone on this list have a Phoebe Owens in their files? I'm looking for more info on the one who married James Rogers in Rhea in 1831. Did she have children? Did she move to MO? Who were her parents? When did she die? Any little tidbit appreciated. Anything. Even a good guess might help:) Edna Clack

I have tried and I have never been able to go back any further than David. I also have some on Audley's and Catherine children. I am glad to see someone else interested in them. For the longest time I thought of them as my orphaned line. No one knew anything about them, or seem interested. Gayle Gayle Coberly 2704 Whittle Way Midland, TX 79707

    3. Hello, I'm new to this list and am researching PETERS and HUTCHESON (variously spelled). These families actually were also in: Hawkins, Grainger, and Bledsoe Co. with some relations in McMinn and Roane. I am particularly interested in the brothers Joseph PETERS, who married Nancy HUTCHESON, and Bruton PETERS, who married Agnes HUTCHESON (his second wife), sister of Nancy. These sisters were children of Charles and Rebecca (SKILLMAN) HUTCHESON. Joseph PETERS is generally and incorrectly given as the husband of Agnes and all of Joseph's and Nancy's children are confused with Bruton's and Agnes' children. Other siblings of Joseph and Bruton were: Elizabeth who married George MONROE, Mary who married Isaac THOMPSON, and Nancy who married Thomas KELLY. I noticed a posting from someone showing their descent from David Caldwell on the Monroe Co., TN rootsweb list. His son Audley Caldwell married into my PETERS line. Catherine PETERS was the daughter of Joseph and Nancy (HUTCHISON) PETERS (both died ante-1830, Bledsoe Co., TN and children moved to Rhea Co., TN with relatives/guardians). After Audley's death, Catherine (PETERS) CALDWELL moved, presumably with some of her children, to Bozeman, Gallatin Co., Montana. I have some of Catherine and Audley CALDWELL's children up on my webpage listed below. Click on PETERS under my paternal lines. Lucy Barron http://www.fas.harvard.edu/~lbarron 253 S. 1. Re: SEEKING WYRICK INFORMATION
    2. Don't know if we connect anywhere, but thought I would share what little information I have on the Wyrick's that tie into my research. I have a Joshua Vaughan born July 5, 1805 whose third wife was a Wyrick. To my knowledge they married in Miller County,Missouri. One of their children also married a Wyrick. I am not a descendant of this wife, so have little information.. However, I thought you might recognize some of these names or dates. IF you do, feel free to contact me and we will see what else we can piece together. Sarah Francis William's was Joshua's first wife!!! No children from that marriage. Then our Elizabeth "Betsy" Birdsong.........the third wife was Susan A. Wyrick (1823-1913), and they had Daniel Vaughan (1858-?), Phebe Vaughan (1860-1877), and Jefferson Davis Vaughan (1863-1943) who married Martha Wyrick. Norma

    2. Donna Sue Strong
    3. Hello everyone! My name is Donna (Brock) Strong and I am currently researching my father's family, the Brocks. My grandfather, William Coleman Brock, Sr., was born on February 24, 1886 in (from what I can decifer) Rhea Springs, Rhea Co., TN to James and Sarah (Ivy) Brock. I am trying to determine dates of birth for my great-grandparents, as well as places of birth. I have stumbled upon a Sarah Ivy in Rutherford Co., TN, born in 1849. I believe she is the one; however, I have found no information whatsoever on James Brock. I am also trying to verify a marriage date for the two. Anyone with any information that could assist, I'd be much appreciated. Thanks, Donna (Brock) Strong
