These are the names I am researching. I believe the Boles family reunion is being held in Spring City the Sunday before Labor Day (that is usually the date they choose each year). I will find out more from my folks if anyone is interested. Kim Las Cruces, NM >.^..^<

Searching for information on the Love family in Rhea Co. I have a will from William Love who died ca 1826 in Rhea Co. He is son of Samuel Sr of Knox Co and apparently died single as his will listed his father, and brothers and nieces and nephews. He seems to have been in his 40s. Could he have been widowed? If so, who was his wife? John Love, nephew of above William, and son of Isaac and Phoebe Love married in Rhea Co to Polly Wassum on 3 Sep 1836. Thanks for any help on this group, Judy John and his father Isaac moved on, ending up in present day Maries and Phelps Co MO. I
looking for anything on DAVID BECK - supposedly in Rhea County prior to 1812; then moved on to Hamilton County. Married Sarah HUNTER of Jefferson County in 1803 - may or may not have been married when he lived in Rhea. Where did he (or his family) come from before that??? Who were his parents??? He may possibly have been born in Germantown, PA . mel1@CDC.GOV
I am researching the name Gennoe(Genoe, Geno, Gano, Ganoe, Jano, Janoe, Janow, etc). Martha Gennoe born 1802 and died April 26, 1892 in Meigs County Tennessee. Martha may have been born in South Carolina and married there. She came to Rhea County Tennessee in 1830. She gave birth to children:David born 1823 , James born in June 6, 1825 in MCMinn county Tennessee and married Emaline Robeson, Louisa Jane born 1826, Mary Ann born 1828 and Calvin born 1830. Is there any one out there that knows any of these people and can help me. I am stuck miserably. I need to get past Martha and out of Tennessee to finish this mess. THANK YOU sANDRA

I'm sending this message to Nancy Cole; however, I've misplaced her e-mail address. I had thought this message went through on 6/21 but apparently it did not. I'll try again. Nancy, Back to thinking again ... Would you be able to look for me and see when/if James Brock and/or Sarah Ivey or Brock might appear in Rhea County? I have no idea at this point if their families both began in Rhea County OR if they might have moved there after their marriage (another date I am unaware of). The only information I have is from one of their son's death certificates ~ stating, James Brock was born in Kentucky; Sarah Ivey, Tennessee. I can tell you this: Together, they had six children: Arthur (supposedly, the oldest); Caroline (eventually married William "Wild Bill" Henry ~ she died at a "very young" age); William Coleman (b: 2/24/1886, Rhea Springs, Rhea Co., TN ~ my grandfather); John (b: 8/28/1887, TN); Alma (b: 1896, Jellico, Campbell Co., TN); and Taylor, b: 1897, ???). Any information you might be able to provide for me would be REALLY helpful. Thanks, Donna (Brock) Strong Nancy Cole wrote: > > Hi Donna, > > I enjoy doing lookups, but in this case it will not be possible.
