Their son WILLIAM and 2nd wife Lucinda (Gentry) were my gg-grandpartents. William's 1st wife was Sallie F Lindsey (related to the Allison's). I'm trying to find out who were the parents of John T Whitefield and Elizabeth Thomas. John was born ca. 1780. Do you have any info that would help me? I've been looking for years with no luck. My "gut feeling" is that he was a son of William Whitefield and Mary Towler from Goochland Co, Va. Hoping to hear from you soon. Valesca
