I was really surprised that Rootsweb has no email subscription lists for Knox County. It is a fairly large area and I have several ancestors who lived and died there. Do any of you know if there is a reason for this? Is it under a different county perhaps.. was this area always Knox County or did it go under a different one years ago. Okay, I know I'm posting on Putnam, but I'm hoping some of you from Tennessee, or history buffs might have some answers to this. Thanks.
