Alexander was the son of Matthias Welch Jr. and Susan Ricketts. Matthias Welch Jr. was the son of Matthias Welch Sr. and ????? Larry Jack's dad, Thomas Alexander Welch died in an automobile accident along with his brother Augusta Jackson Welch.
