At one time, many years ago, a man named A. W. Fox in Gainesboro, TN (RFD #3), owned some Civil War letters written to/from Capt. John A. Matheny, Andrew J. Lacy, and Jacob E. Matheny. I have a transcription of one of those letters, and do not know how it came to be in my possession. I would very much like to see the other letters, or transcriptions of them.
