I am looking for decendents of John and Cansida(?) Ford. In the 1880 Census for Jackson Co. they are listed with children Will and Bird. Bird is my grandfather. The spelling for Cansida is my best reading of the census takers handwriting. In 1900 Buchanan and Cansida Ford are in the Putnam Co census. In it they have several children. Birdie Monroe Ford married Nancy Bell Rittenberry in Putnam Co in 1902. My father, Leonard Lindley was born in Algood in 1904. My grandmother saved an obit for Will Ford of Baxter, Tenn.,(maybe my grandfather's brother). There was no date on the obit but his wife's name was Margie Dyer. My father and both his parents died when I was young and I can't seem to find anyone who knows the family. Does anyone have any of these people in their research? Linda Qualls
