Would anyone on the list have any information on CHESLEY CODY MALONE, who was born 3 Mar 1852, and died 5 Nov 1939. From what I can gather, he spent most of his life in Putnam County, probably around Algood or Monterey areas. Is anyone researching a Rogers line out of Putnam (or a nearby county) that has a Mary "Polly" Jane Merritt marrying into it. Mary was born in 1797. I do not know the first name of the Rogers guy she married or any of their children. Mary's Merritt family is also known to have been in Smith, Jackson and Dekalb. This was Mary's first marriage. She much later married 2nd to Joseph Roberts. Any help would be truly appreciated. Robie

Does anyone know where Sarah Merritt Garner is buried? She died on 09/01/1915 in Dekalb or Putnam County. She was married to John Henry Garner and lived in Putnam County as late as the 1880 census.
