Hi Polk Folk, Hope you all had a Happy Holiday, and were able to spend it with your loved ones. That is what the Holidays are about, time to be with your family & friends. Once again, we are about to embark on a New Year. A lot more data is put online everyday, and if any of you have Polk connections you would like to share, please e-mail me (Littletn@aol.com), or post it to our list. Speaking of sharing, in April 2002, the National Archives and Records Administration will finally make available the 1930 census microfilm. I don't know about you guys, but I am definitely looking forward to the 1930 census. For me personally, it will (hopefully) answer some questions on a few relatives that I am unsure of how they are connected. I am hoping it may also answer a question on a couple of marriages, but we shall see. Wouldn't it be nice to see it published as a CD set the way the LDS published the 1880? Well, maybe someday!! Anyway, I wish you all the best, and hope you will find all those ancestors in 2002!!
