Hello group, I received numerous reply's to my posting of 9/18/2000, looking for 1870 census lookup of William Collins and family and I am very grateful. I have several other questions to throw out to the group. One of the replies said that William Collins was living in the 10th District of Polk County and lists the Post Office as Hiwassee. I would like to know the bounds of the 10th district to give me a better idea of the area that the Collins family lived. William was listed as a mine hand. Other than copper mining around Copper Hill, TN, did any other type of mining go on this area, in this time period? Thanks in advance for any help with these questions. Clinton R. Davis
